Bahia de Banderas not only is one of the most beautiful Bays in the world, but it is also the biggest bay, stretching up to 42km, and the deepest, reaching over 1 KM in depth. Home to a huge variety of sea life, from tropical endemic species of fish to endemic birds and ducks.
We will be going on the North side of the Bay for the best whale watching.

When is whale watching season in Puerto Vallarta?
From early December to late March, when humpback whales come into Banderas Bay to breed and calve. January and February are the peak months.
Are whale sightings guaranteed?
They are wild animals, so no one can honestly promise 100%. In season, sightings in Banderas Bay are very frequent — we head to the north side of the bay, where the whale activity is best.
Is the whale watching tour private?
Yes — the whole boat is yours. No strangers, no fixed schedule: the Heaven on Earth team follows the whales at your group's pace.
How much does a private whale watching tour cost?
From $329 USD for the whole boat — 4 hours and up to 4 guests on our smallest panga, never per person. The calculator on this page shows the total for your group.
Can we combine whale watching with snorkeling or beaches?
Yes — the 4-hour tour covers whale watching only, but on request we combine it with snorkeling, hidden beaches or lunch stops by adding hours to your charter.
